Tomorrow is THE day...The plan is to leave around 6 or 7 ( depends how much we get done ) and travel to Tennessee. I had graduation today and it was lovely. I couldn't wait to see the end not because I don't appreciate it but because I knew what I was doing tomorrow...
I am hoping that I will have a lot more tomorrow to talk about. I am so excited about the possibilities. I keep imagining the photo opportunities along the way. I just hope that I can do the opportunities justice. And to share all this with Gregory is an absolutely gift.
All right...Say it with me! Tennessee here we come!!

Oh well...
And so it is for today.

Getting Ready
So ...we are getting ready to start our adventure. So much to do. Step one completed: I found blogger so I can keep you all posted on our progress. Wonder about the name?It is our version of the Iditarod on a hot trail - Yep, Greg's idea. Hence my description on Facebook: A trip with my husband is always amazing, amusing, and memorable.Working on step two tonight: making a list.Of course, we have been collecting supplies for a couple of weeks. Part of our list is done.
Our journey is unplanned. All we know is that the final destination is the Grand Canyon. We have an idea of where we are going to get there but that is about it. It is the adventure my husband always wanted. I figured after 30 years of being together, he earned it. I am doing this for him but I tell you a little secret...I am doing it for us! I am just as excited.
